The ceremony, held on March 3rd, 2025, in the school's covered court, marked a significant moment for the student body.

Mr. Rodel N. Etchon, adviser of SELG, administered the oath, his voice resonating with authority and warmth. Each officer, radiating a blend of nervousness and excitement, repeated the words, their commitment echoing through the covered court. The weight of their responsibility – to lead, to serve, and to represent their fellow students – was evident in their expressions.
These newly elected leaders, representing the diverse voices and aspirations of Tanquigan Elementary, will guide the student body through the coming academic year. Their year-long term promises a period of collaborative leadership, innovative initiatives, and dedicated service to the school community. Their dedication and vision will undoubtedly shape the school's atmosphere and contribute significantly to its success.

The Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our school's waste management system. Their diligent efforts in proper waste segregation within the designated waste area are commendable. This systematic approach allows for the efficient identification of different waste materials, simplifying the process for garbage collectors and ensuring proper disposal. Beyond waste segregation, the SELG's responsibilities extend to upholding cleanliness both inside and outside the school premises. Their commitment to environmental responsibility and school hygiene contributes significantly to a healthier and more pleasant learning environment for all. This proactive approach not only benefits the immediate school community but also fosters a sense of civic duty and environmental awareness among the student body. The SELG's dedication serves as an excellent example of student leadership and its positive impact on the school and wider community. Their work promotes sustainable practices and contributes to a cleaner, healthier environment for everyone.
