2025 REGIONAL ATHLETIC MEET
The Tanquigan Elementary School (ES) football team embarked on an exciting journey to the Region 1 Athletic Association (R1AA) tournament, hosted by the Schools Division Office of La Union (SDO-La Union) in Bacnotan, La Union. The competition, a fierce battleground of fourteen divisions, unfolded on the hallowed turf of La Union National High School. Under the expert guidance of Coach Herbert F. Dumaguin and his dedicated assistant, Mr. Rodel N. Etchon, the Tanquigan team faced each match with unwavering determination and sportsmanship. The atmosphere crackled with energy as the young athletes showcased their talent, skill, and teamwork, leaving an indelible mark on the tournament. Each game was a testament to their hard work, dedication, and the spirit of competition. Whether victory or defeat, their participation in the R1AA was a significant milestone, fostering camaraderie and a love for the beautiful game. The experience undoubtedly shaped their character and instilled valuable life lessons beyond the football field.
2025 SOLIDARITY MEETING
On February 27, 2025, at La Union National High School, Superintendent Dr. Sheila Marie A. Primicias led a meeting bringing together Schools Division Office - City of San Fernando, La Union (SDO-CFS) staff and key personnel for the upcoming R1AA 2025 event. Attendees included coaches, assistant coaches, chaperones, officials, school heads, supervisors, and technical teams. The meeting covered planning for pre-tournament training and establishing rules and regulations for the tournament.
LAUNCHING OF WISE-SMP
The Schools Division Office - City of San Fernando (La Union) announces the official launch of WISE-SMP (Web-Based Information System for Education - School Management Portal), a web-based information system for education, marking a significant step towards enhanced school management and improved student learning outcomes.
