The Inauguration of Tanquigan Elementary School  YES-O Officers for 2025-2026

Tanquigan Elementary School's newly elected YES-O officers for the School Year 2025-2026 were officially sworn in on March 3, 2025, at the school's covered court. The ceremony was presided over by their YES-O adviser, Mr. Herbert F. Dumaguin.

The YES-O club, a vibrant and active organization within the school, has consistently participated in a wide array of activities. These engagements have spanned various levels, including those organized by the Department of Education's Schools Division Office, the school itself, and the wider community. Their commitment to service is evident in their participation in numerous initiatives, such as community clean-up drives, tree planting projects, and coastal clean-ups. These activities not only benefit the environment but also foster a strong sense of community responsibility among the officers and members. The club's dedication to service and active involvement in school and community events makes them a valuable asset to Tanquigan Elementary School.

The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) actively promotes environmental stewardship through its impactful school cleanup drives. These initiatives are crucial not only for maintaining the cleanliness of the school grounds but also for mitigating the risk of flooding during heavy rainfall. By removing debris and ensuring proper drainage, YES-O contributes directly to the safety and well-being of the school community. As a science organization, YES-O understands the vital connection between environmental health and human well-being. Their commitment to creating a clean and green environment reflects their dedication to scientific principles and responsible environmental practices. Their actions extend beyond simple cleanup; they embody a proactive approach to environmental conservation, educating and inspiring fellow students to participate in environmental protection efforts. The organization's work fosters a sense of environmental responsibility and empowers students to become active agents of change in their community. Their dedication to creating a sustainable and healthy environment sets a positive example for others to follow, demonstrating the power of youth involvement in environmental conservation.
